On the verge of celebrating its 10-year anniversary, Drai's After Hours nightclub remains an unparalleled success as the longest running venue of its kind to burst onto the Las Vegas Strip. The hotspot's notoriety and widespread reputation for late night lavishness have garnered its creators with much prestige. Among the managing partners are twin brothers Cy and Jesse Waits, responsible for the prosperity of this and a myriad of other equally eminent nightclubs, including Tryst at the Wynn and XS at Encore. "I don't think I'm better than anyone else because I've succeeded in this business," Cy admits, "but I will sit at my house sometimes and definitely appreciate everything I have." The duo now plan on extending their grasp out west into Los Angeles with their newest endeavor, Drai's Hollywood at the W Hotel, set for its grand opening on March 17th.

Despite the Waits' lengthy track record of opening and maintaining lucrative establishments for the high-end party scene in Sin City, tapping into an equivalent clientele in Los Angeles will be a challenge. The celebrity-driven Hollywood crowd is markedly less extravagant than the heavy hitting "whales" that Vegas draws in. In addition, Drai's Hollywood boasts an expansive layout of 20,000 square feet - requiring a large number of guests for a packed house. However in true Las Vegas fashion, the brothers are not ones to cower away from a situation in which the stakes are high.

The most valuable asset that Cy and Jesse Waits have available to them is their continued partnership with legendary business impresario and Los Angeles local, Victor Drai. Playing a heavy hand in the conceptualization of the new venue, Drai has made certain that every aesthetic detail is up to par with the trio's elevated standards. The general architecture inside Drai's Hollywood is beautiful in itself, but added touches like gold-mirrored tiles, snakeskin-embossed couches, and Moroccan-inspired cabanas for the open air pool deck will surely impress upon any guest the luxury and magnificence of the posh nightclub. Working in tandem with Victor Drai, the Waits brothers have set the city abuzz with enthusiasm, and will surely launch yet another immensely successful establishment.
