The Resort at Pelican Hill brings the essence of the Italian Renaissance to the Newport Coast

Venetian Renaissance architect Andrea Palladio appreciably influenced much of the history of Western architecture - as far west as the sun-kissed shores of Newport Beach. The Resort at Pelican Hill sheds the warmth of Italy across 504 acres, overlooking the Pacific Ocean with its classical design and the largest perfectly circular infinity pool in the world. Along with fine dining at Andrea, the hotel’s famed Italian restaurant or homemade gelato at The Caffe following a day at the spa, the club also boasts 36 holes on two golf courses with stunning ocean views, both “re-perfected” by Tom Fazio.

The new Hotel Indigo in San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter is the first Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design certified hotel in San Diego. Capturing the sun-kissed character of San Diego and pairing it with the ideal of energy efficiency, the hotel features a green roof to reduce energy consumption, as well as eco-friendly food with beverage containers and a terrace that is made of wholly recycled materials.  The hotel also plans to reward its green-minded guests by offering reserved parking spaces and discounts for visitors who drive fuel-efficient vehicles.
